Tallulah Morton. Fifteen years old. A successful career since thirteen years old. How many of us can say that about ourselves?

As one of the most talked about models in Australia this wonderous model has appeared in Vogue, Marie Claire, Harpers Bazaar and Russh plus more.

The stunning face of Cue and Josh Goot's Designers for Target campaign is where she is currently at. The highlight of her career to date is the Vivien Westwood Tokyo runway show, which was one of a series of gigs she achieved when she first started out.

Currently detered by the ban on under-age models, I feel we will be seeing much more of this young woman in the future. But for now I urge my readers to remember her name and to recognise her when you see her because she is an amazing talent.

Kym Ellery

May 27th 2008 04:14

From Vogue Australia to Harpers Bazaar to Russh and Madison. The expanding Ellery label has skimmed through Australia's best fashion magazines, featuring in prominent editorials.

And why not judge for yourself whether you believe Kym Ellery is worth such high standing titles.

Ellery's label is reflective of a woman who know's what she wants. It is Ellery's own style and is constantly fresh and updated. Reeking success she nails the modern woman, or atleast the cleche of what that modern woman should be.

Her latest collection is all about blue, black and gold. Aflowing blue dress with a thick gold belt. The classic LBD updated with an Ellery's own gold vest. A metallic gold strapless dress with strips patterned in black gold and sliver, almost in a modern cleopatra style. Romance, success, classical, envious are just some of the themes exerted in Ellery's designs.

The debut collection that was the S/S 07 line was the start of what has been and will continue to be a successful and much loved brand that has branded the heart of the industry.

From her home town in Perth to London and then back to Australia, Ellery has observed the fashion industry from years of styling and has accumalted a deep knowledge of the industry. It is through this that she knows what she wants to design and what needs to be done to succeed in the industry.

While Ellery the brand is still young, Kym Ellery has years of knowledge and experience in fashion. From here and since her S/S 07 collection the only way is up.

Introducing Emma Macdonald

May 23rd 2008 02:10

Emma Macdonald is a young new representative of the ever-expanding fashion industry at just 16 years-old. Only a year ago she was helping out on her parents farm in South Australia and hadn't even considered modelling.

It wasn't Emma who saught out the industry but it was the industry that saught out her. She was scouted by Exclusive Models in Adelaide and was shortly signed up with Scene Model Management in Melbourne.

Her career has taken off. She has had exclusives and starred in one of the world's most prestigous magazines, Italian Vogue.

Emma was working for Sass & Bide and Lee Philippines within weeks of her modelling contract and has since been working hard in Europe with designers like Dolce and Gabana.

This is one model to look out for. If she can do all this and more in one year, well, enough said.

Camilla and Marc Freeman

May 22nd 2008 08:22

Australia's favourite sibling designers, Camilla and Marc, have produced their latest masterpiece with success. Their Spring/Summer 2007/08 collection is innovative and quite bold as they push the boudaries with lace, frills, layers, sleeves and sequins combined with tight jeans and biker jackets. But who could have pulled of such a vast use of material better than Camilla and Marc

The Great Alexander Wang

May 21st 2008 07:33
For my first post, I thought who better to write about than my current favourite designer. Alexander Wang. Heard of him? Well he's a 23 year-old designer from New York and this is one man that knows a woman very well. I havn't found this out by looking at his dating record or even speaking to him in person. I found this out by looking at the clothes designs. They're imperfect. They look effortlessly chic and isn't that the look we're all trying to pull off?

In his Autumn/Winter 2008 collection he had his models walking down the catwalk with rips in their stockings and shirts half untucked. You couldn't get more effortless than that
